Life-changing camps for at-risk children

Creating an unforgettable week for those who need it the most.

Our camps show abused and neglected children a brighter future.

Children that attend SCKC camps are referred to by welfare and foster agencies, school principals and chaplains.

Many of our campers are in the foster care system and have been subjected to various forms of significant trauma.

When they attend our camps, they have so much fun and don’t want them to ever end! They get to participate in a range of activities, like horse riding, swimming, craft, singing and more.

Every child is paired with a buddy to get the undivided attention they need.

We partner with churches throughout Australia to offer children a five-day specialised program with many helping hands.

Our unique 1:1 ratio of leaders to children means every child is cared for personally, and receives a positive adult role model and friend for the week.

All our leaders have a Working With Children’s Check and are thoroughly screened and trained.

Lives that have been changed through SCKC camps:

Hear from our donors:

“There’s no doubt camp changed my life. It gave me happy memories to hold onto when I went home. I had hope that things were going to get better and that I had the power to make good decisions that would keep me on the right path.”
Roberta
“SCKC lifted me up when I was down, gave me a week of happiness that I’ll never forget and helped me to build a life full of happiness and joy.”
James
“If I could quote anything it would be that SCKC was a place I could belong and feel like I was loved when I’d never known that feeling before.”
Emily
