On Saturday the 14th February 2015, our Founding Director, Carolyn Boyd departed this life. Carolyn was a visionary, leader, servant and volunteer. She was not only our Founding Director; she was also our friend.
It’s no exaggeration when we say that thousands of people have been touched by the life of Carolyn Boyd. Her memorial service was testament to that, with more than 1,000 people in attendance. We feel honoured to have shared the journey with Carolyn and also humbled by her extraordinary ability to change the world for good and make a difference in the lives of so many children and adults alike.
Our journey at Southern Cross Kids’ Camps continues on and will grow stronger as we run with the vision and mission given to Carolyn so many years ago.
